Trachelospermum Jasminoides Star Jasmine
Trachelospermum Jasminoides (Star Jasmine) approx 5ft some variation occures
An attractive woody evergreen climber with rich dark green leaves which turn bronze in winter.
Clusters of fragrant, pure white flowers are produced from mid to late summer.
It is best grown against a warm sunny wall in milder areas or in a greenhouse or conservatory in areas prone to severe frosts to increase the amount of flowers.
After flowering has finished prune back to fit the available space.
The foliage turns red in winter. We have found this plant to be very hardy, we had -15 last winter the only thing I would advise is to plant in a free draining place in lime free soil.
The plant is grown in a 3 litre pot and is approx 3ft tall
