Summer Flowering Fragrant Jasmine
Jasmine is a popular climber grown for the masses of highly scented white flowers which continue from mid summer into early autumn.
The plants are strong twiners, best grown over a shed, porch, arbour or other outbuilding or a large old tree stump.
A certain amount of cutting back will be needed in spring to keep the plant looking trim and tidy but don't do more than is needed.
The plants are rather too big to accommodate on a small trellis on the wall of a house.
Jasmine associates nicely with climbing roses, honeysuckle or clematis, but it looks superb grown on its own.
The Royal Horticultural Society has given it its prestigious Award of Garden Merit (AGM).
The plant is grown in a 2.5 litre pot and is approx 3ft tall
