This new helleborus flowered beautifully last year flowering here on the nursery for over 10 weeks, very easy to look after and highly recommended.
Helleborus can be rhizomatous, herbaceous or semi-evergreen perennials forming a clump of pedate basal leaves or evergreen with erect leafy stems. Large bowl-shaped flowers are borne in loose clusters in late winter or spring
The 'Helleborus Penny's Pink' provides an ideal winter warmer since its single pink blooms flower between January to March, adding a magical splash of dark pink colouring.
Their marbled foliage lasts throughout the spring and summer giving a long season of interest – the long-lasting flowers borne on deep red, upright stems to complement the flowers.
Here is a plant which offers more intense colouring than other Hybrid varieties and with a height and spread of 50cm x 50cm it is ideal for gardeners who do not enjoy a lot of space
Avoid doing any pruning other than to remove dead leaves or stems down near the base of the plant.
Ideal for mixed borders or patio containers
Grows in any reasonable soil in sun or part shade.
