Clematis Alpina Foxy - 3ft tall
Clematis Alpina Foxy has long, nodding, pale pink flowers open in April to May followed by silky seed heads. Grows up to 10ft high. Prune after flowering if wished. Plant in deep well drained humus rich soil, in sun or shade
The plant's compact habit makes it ideal for smaller gardens and growing in containers.
To prune, remove any dead or weak stems in late winter or early spring and cut remaining stems back to the highest pair of strong-growing buds.
To encourage blooms to cover the whole plant train the stems so that they are evenly spaced on their support. As new growth appears in mid-spring, train this to fill any gaps.
Plant in any position.
The plant is grown in a 2.5 litre pot and is approx 3ft tall
