Brunnera Macrophylla Jack Frost
Ideal Perennial for a Shady Spot
Jack Frost is a clump forming deciduous perennial with broad hairy heart shaped leaves which are silver with green veins and blue forget-me-not type flowers in spring. They’re used best in rock gardens, open woodland gardens, border fronts, and wild gardens.
They don’t have serious insect or disease problems but you do want to watch out for soil that’s not drained well
We are offering this great variety that will provide you with colour and interest all year round.
These are proven in the garden as tough long lasting plants requiring little maintenance.
Plant in a good garden soil in sun or shade.
Remove flowers to encourage foliage colour.
Use in containers (very good for winter tubs) or planted in beds or borders.
They should be given rich, moist soil in light shade or shade.
They grow about 50cm and spread along the ground 45cm.
We will send 2 litre or 3 litre pots depending on availability at time of order.
